Technical features:

    The BYD483QB engine adopts electronic control multi-point sequential fuel injection, inline four-stroke water-cooled 

pent-roof combustion, dual overhead camshaft 16-valve electronic ignition system. Its cylinder block is of inline portal type, 

the crankshaft is fully balanced with a dam at the front end, and the electronic control system is closed-loop control, with 

fuel injection quantity and ignition timing precisely controlled by the electronic control unit. The combustion is pent-roof type, 

and the firing order is 1-3-4-2. The cylinder block uses a portal structure, with the main bearing skirt frame integrated, and 

no cylinder liner structure. The cylinder head uses a typical dual overhead camshaft arrangement, with the spark plug in the 

center, and the name valves are located on both sides of the cylinder head.


 

The BYD483QB engine is applicable to the following models: 

BYD F3 (1st generation), BYD F6,D F8, BYD G6, BYD M6, BYD S6, BYD S8, etc.
